This is the website for the Northeast Region of the American Chemical Society, which covers New England and upstate New York. Events within the region include the annual NERM conferences (the "Northeast Regional Meetings"; these are coordinated and overseen at the regional level by members of the regional board, as well as representatives from all of the local section. The following local sections are part of the Northeast Region.
Regional meetings
NERM 2012 will be held in Rochester, New York. For more information, please see the NERM 2012 website (under development) or contact the Rochester local section. There will be no NERM in 2011.
Regional awards
Several regional ACS awards will be presented at NERM 2012. The deadline for all award nominations is June 1, 2012, except for the Stanley Israel award. For more details, please see the Awards page.
Local sections
The Northeast Region of the ACS consists of the following Local Sections in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont:
