OK, we're ready to play now! We have some demonstration pages for you to play in. Choose to collaborate on one of the following:
- Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010
- George Washington
- Travel Guide to the Adirondacks
Before we start, I want to check that all the pages have a group of at least two editors - please tell me which page you would like to work on.
Before you start, you will need to create a template that will go on the talk page of the article. Assign a task between your group. This will say something like, "This article is maintained by the government policy study group", and should include a relevant picture found in Wikimedia Commons, or (open copyright) on the internet (Flickr is also good for finding Creative Commons photos). If you want some ideas, there is an example template here.
You can try and discuss major changes politely on the talk page, or you can just jump in and start editing.
I will call an end to things at a set time, so we can discuss things, and review what we have learned.
