Start date: December 1, 2004.

We must continue training both police and military forces as quickly as possible, if we are to stabilize the country in a reasonable time. We must have enough strength available to hold democratic elections, rebuild the country's infrastructure and restore the economy.

  • January 2005: We now have over 100,000 police and 80,000 in the new Iraqi army. We are in a good position to hold the elections as planned.
  • January 31, 2005: The elections went remarkably well! Great job, guys!
    • STEPS 1 AND 2 COMPLETE!
  • May 20, 2005: Operation Matador has been a success! We've closed the main insurgent supply route from Syria. I think we're finally winning!
  • August 31, 2005: Things are tough out there, but we can probably still manage elections in December. We just need to get them to agree to a constitution!
  • October 15, 2005: Great! They just ratified the constitution. We're on for a December election now.
  • November 19, 2005: Some bad publicity. We need to keep our guys under control, the last thing we want is those CBS a**holes making their stupid documentaries.
  • December 15, 2005: Elections went well! Iraq is now a fully democratic country! Let's hope this shuts up those dumb Democrats!
    • STEP 3 COMPLETE
  • February 22, 2006: Some guys just blew up a Shiite mosque, and now the Shiites are going on the rampage against the Sunnis. We need to make sure this doesn't turn into a civil war.
  • March 31, 2005: Things seem to be gradually stabilizing. It doesn't seem to be stopping some of those geriatric generals from sticking their noses in, asking for Donald to resign. No way Jose!
  • June 13, 2006: I'm getting worried. We're nearly halfway through 2006, and we don't seem to be making progress. We have around 140,000 police now, but some of our Marines are saying that some of them are behind much of the trouble. I hope we can still reach stage 4 by October or we'll be screwed in the elections.
  • September 10, 2006: Another gloomy report from the Marines. We need some good news, fast.
  • October 20, 2006: Donald has recommended bringing in a thinktank of knowledgable people from this college he knows in upstate New York called Sunni Potsdam. I hope the Shiites don't mind! He says they're really smart, and we should give them full access to this wiki. I do hope we're doing the right thing....!
