Iron(III) nitrate, Fe(NO3)3, also known as ferric nitrate, is a typical iron(III) salt. It is usually encountered as the hexahydrate (Fe(NO3)3·6H2O) or the nonahydrate (Fe(NO3)3·9H2O).
