- ↑ Although thorium(III) fluoride (ThF3, CAS number 13842-84-7, standard InChIKey NFUSRTKFVSVVEC-UHFFFAOYSA-K) is sometimes mentioned, by analogy with zirconium(III) fluoride, attempts to prepare it have been unsuccessful.[4][5]
