Torbern Olof Bergman (20 March 1735 – 8 July 1784) was a Swedish chemist and mineralogist.[1][2][3]

Early life

Torbern Bergman was born in 1735 in the royal demesne of Katrineberg, south of Mariestad in Vestergötland, Sweden, the son of Barthold Bergman and Sara Hägg.[2]
