ChemWiki is currently a test wiki, organised by Martin Walker from the State University of New York at Potsdam. It is currently closed to the general public; it is hoped that the wiki can be opened up for full public access during 2009. If this is achieved, the goal of it will be to create a meeting place for chemists on the internet - a place for students and teachers to share ideas, new papers they like, study problems for classes, classroom ideas for teachers, handy experimental methods, etc.
