Hotels

Potsdam

The main hotel in Potsdam is the Clarkson Inn, an historic inn about half a mile from campus. Motel accommodation is available at the Northern Family Motel, or the Smalling Motel. For those who prefer Bed & Breakfasts, there is the Brambles Inn and Gardens on Elm St. close by, in Potsdam, and the Butternut Ridge B&B is a short drive away.

Canton

Canton, the county seat of St. Lawrence County, is about 15 minutes away by car. There are two larger hotels: Comfort Suites, with 69 rooms, lies on the way to Potsdam, while the University Inn/Best Western, with 99 rooms, is on the campus of Saint Lawrence University. The Cascade Inn is also in downtown Canton.

Massena

Massena lies on the St. Lawrence river, about half an hour north of Potsdam. Choices include the Quality Inn, Econolodge, Super 8 motel and Bob's Motel/Red Carpet Inn.
