Welcome to WikiChem! This wiki has been set up to develop and test out ideas for using wikis in chemistry. Access is at present limited to specific invited users, but if it seems appropriate it may develop beyond this once the testing phase is complete. Current projects include:
- Storage of files for the chemistry validation efforts on Wikipedia. The files can be found at Category:WPChem_validation.
- We are evaluating the Wikicat biblographic system and the Wikicite citation tool, with a view to bringing these to Wikipedia if they are successful. Please forgive any glitches that result from testing!
- Chemistry 395, an online course on sustainable manufacturing, is being taught on the wiki during Spring 2008.
- Students taking Chemistry 342 (Organic Chemistry II) can access information on their poster projects.
- Students taking Chemistry 444 (Advanced Organic Chemistry) will be uploading their poster information.
- Periodically, training workshops are held on this wiki. If you are attending a workshop, please go to the start of the tutorial.
