Today's discussion will begin by covering the upcoming Case Presentations, and a quick preview of the term paper. We will then switch to this EtherPad for the main discussion, which will examine the following questions:
- What parameters should be used to assess a country's commitment to reducing greenhouse gases - total CO2, total CO2 per unit GDP (carbon intensity), or something else?
- How should the international community use market forces to reduce CO2 emissions: Is carbon trading most appropriate, or should there be a carbon tax, or some other method?
