Chemistry 321: Home page

This is the home page for Chemistry 321, online course on "The Sustainable World." General announcements may be placed here (as well as on the Moodle site) during the semester.

This wiki can also be found via www.wikichem.org if you need to remember a URL. If you have any questions, please leave a message for the instructor (click on the + tab for a new message), or contact him via email at walkerma@potsdam.edu.

Announcements

Welcome!

Welcome to Chemistry 321! Please look at the welcome page (just click on any blue link), first, then take a look at the Chem321:Syllabus and Chem321:Schedule to get an idea of what work is involved. To find out what you should be doing this week, take a look at today's page (changed daily) and this week's page (permanent).

All of the major Chem 321 pages will include the main navigation template (see right); some pages (such as assignment pages) may have an additional template at the bottom to help you find related pages quickly.

In 2015 I have noticed a small glitch on the site; sometimes you get a blank page when you click a link. If this happens, just refresh the page and it should then load normally.

Assignments

The first assignment will be posted later this week, and it will be due by July 13th, 2015.

FYI, for later: The final exam will take place on Friday, August 7th, 2015, on Moodle. It takes place at any time (after 4am) that is convenient to you, but once you start the exam you must complete it within two hours. There is a practice exam on the wiki and on Moodle, and I will also post a copy of the 2012 electronic exam available on Moodle for you to practice with.

Discussions

The next discussion is Discussion 3, and it will take place on Friday, via Skype.

This is the tentative list of group members, though there are one or two switches that still need to be made. There are two discussion groups. Composition of the groups is subject to change.
