This is the page for Unit 7, "Energy." The principal reading is not from Hill, but from Goldemberg (see PDFs below), as well as from the Powerpoint presentation.

Energy

In chapter 6 Goldemberg describes global energy trends, looking at different forms of energy production, different uses, and different countries. He then considers likely future scenarios. In chapter 7 Goldemberg looks at ways to move to a more sustainable production and use of energy, covering a wide range from household stoves to nuclear power plants.
