- Group A should attend Discussion 8 (on Skype) at 6:30pm-7:30pm.
- Post your initial responses for Discussion 7
- Read the slide presentation for Unit 7 on "energy".
- Read CNBC on "Why living off the grid will get a lot easier in 25 years"
- Watch the videos of Prof. Ken Visser on small wind turbines and Prof. Robert Ewy on growing willow
- Read the report about Acme from the EPA, and start work on your case presentation.
Tuesday, July 21st
- Begin Problem Set 4, due by Friday, July 24th.
- Post your initial responses for Discussion 7
- Read the slide presentation for Unit 7 on "energy".
- Read CNBC on "Why living off the grid will get a lot easier in 25 years"
- Watch the videos of Prof. Ken Visser on small wind turbines and Prof. Robert Ewy on growing willow
- Read the report about Acme from the EPA, and start work on your case presentation.
- If you haven't yet done so, choose a topic for your term paper.
Wednesday, July 22nd
- Group B should attend Discussion 8 (Acme meeting on Skype) at 11am-noon.
- Group A should attend Discussion 9 (on Etherpad) at 6:30pm-7:30pm.
- Work on Problem Set 4, due by Friday, July 24th.
- Read the slide presentation for Unit 8 on mining & materials.
- Read Hill chapters 3 & 7.
- Read C&E News on Resource Sustainability
- Post your comments for Discussion 7, if you haven't done so yet - initial posts should be completed by tonight. You can start posting followup comments.
- Work on your first draft of the case presentation (due by Thursday, July 23rd)
- If you haven't yet done so, let Dr. Walker know the topic you picked for your term paper.

- Complete your first draft of the case presentation, due by 11:59pm tonight.
