The first week's discussion will take place all week, and it will focus on (a) finding a mutually suitable time for a "real time discussion" and (b) dealing with any technical issues with the website. After this, we will meet at a specific time (or times) that are acceptable to all; if we have a small group this will be one 50 minute period, if we have a larger group we will have two or more sessions (but attendance at only one will be required). Your grade (totalling 20% of the overall grade) will depend on your level of contribution.
The second week's discussion is at Friday, 4:35pm, and will deal with questions related to the "Focus the Nation" debates.
The third week's discussion (talk) is 4:00pm on Friday. It will be the first "Acme" meeting, and it will discuss the pros and cons of businesses investing in the environment (mainly relating to the topic covered in Chem395:Unit 2).
The third week's discussion talk) is 4:00pm on Friday. It will consider what key scientific research, both applied and pure, will have the most important effect on helping manufacturers move towards sustainability.
