Environmental chemistry
The General Session for Environmental Chemistry welcomes submission of presentations in all areas of research topics in environmental chemistry. We also invite researchers who conduct studies with focuses or applications in the regional environment, such as Lake Ontario, Lake Champlain, St. Lawrence River, and the Adirondacks, to share their scientific findings.

Prof. Ning Gao Prof. Ning Gao is an associate professor of chemistry at St. Lawrence University. She received her Ph.D. in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry from Clarkson University. Her research interests include source-receptor modeling of PM, Hg, and VOCs, mass balance modeling of Hg in Lake Champlain, effects of wood burning on residential indoor air quality, and development of green energy technology. Her work has been published in ES&T, Atmospheric Environment, Journal of Air & Waste Management Association, and others.
