Information on upcoming discussions will be posted here.
Many discussions will use EtherPad, which is a simple, but powerful Instant Message site, where you type your comments as text. You can type at the same time as other people, and your text appears in a color specific to you. One slight bug - to go down the page, you can't scroll, you have to use the cursor and the arrow key. Nevertheless, this has proved very popular with past students.
Some discussions will use Skype. Be sure to download the software ready for use, and review the "using Skype" page.
One discussion per week will be held in-wiki. To participate in a wiki discussion, go to the relevant week's page. Click on "edit" and type in your comments. Make sure you are signed in under your username, and please sign your contributions with ~~~~.
Discussion groups
There are two discussion groups. Composition of the groups is subject to change.
