The 37th Northeast Regional Meeting (NERM 2010) of the American Chemical Society will take place on June 2-5, 2010. It will be hosted by the Northern New York section of the ACS, and held in Potsdam, NY on the SUNY Potsdam campus. Our theme is "Chemistry for a Sustainable World." Please join us!
Register by May 21st to receive the "early bird" rate. Abstract submission has now closed.
Conference outline
- Wednesday, June 2nd: 6pm plenary address by Dr. Catherine Hunt, followed by the opening reception, poster session and recruitment fair.
- Thursday, June 3rd: Plenary address by Prof. Vicki Colvin, then all-day technical sessions, vendor exhibition, career events. Plenary address by Dr. Berkeley Cue, followed by evening performance (free!) of a comedy musical.
- Friday, June 4th: ACS Governance breakfast, then all-day technical sessions & vendor exhibition. Evening awards banquet, then a concert by Crane faculty.
- Saturday, June 5th: Events for K-12 teachers and their students, leadership training, and a visit to the Sunfeather Soap factory.
