This website is now retained as an archive of the conference held in June 2010.
NERM 2012 will be held in Rochester, New York. For more information, please see the NERM 2012 website (under development) or contact the Rochester local section. There will be no NERM in 2011.
The 37th Northeast Regional Meeting (NERM 2010) of the American Chemical Society was held on June 2-5, 2010. It was hosted by the Northern New York section of the ACS, and held in Potsdam, NY on the SUNY Potsdam campus. Our theme was "Chemistry for a Sustainable World."
The full technical program is now available on the NERM 2010 website (titles only) or as a PDF file, or on abstracts.acs.org (titles and full abstracts), . For more advanced searches, you can use this site (requires ACS login) to see titles and full abstracts.

Conference outline
- Wednesday, June 2nd: 6pm plenary address by Dr. Catherine Hunt, followed by the opening reception, poster session and recruitment fair.
- Thursday, June 3rd: All-day technical sessions, vendor exhibition, career events. Plenary address by Dr. Berkeley W. Cue, followed by evening performance (free!) of a comedy musical.
- Friday, June 4th: ACS Governance breakfast, then all-day technical sessions & vendor exhibition. Evening awards banquet, followed by the Aria Reed Trio in Concert.
- Saturday, June 5th: Events for K-12 teachers and their students, and a visit to the Sunfeather Soap factory. The leadership workshop has been cancelled.
